Privacy policy

This policy covers the Trade Harmonics app and tradeharmonics.com. Trade Harmonics is run by Gerard Palma ("we"). Questions: privacy@tradeharmonics.com.
What we collect
- Sign-in details from Google or Apple: your name, email address, profile photo link and an account ID. If you choose "Hide my email" with Apple, we receive Apple's relay address instead.
- Your profile, if you fill it in: handle, avatar, experience level, market focus, trading style and a short bio.
- App settings: your simulated account size, risk settings and filters. These produce performance statistics, which are calculated from the app's signals and your settings.
- Your acceptance of the risk disclaimer: the version you accepted and when.
Push notifications are delivered through Firebase Cloud Messaging to a shared topic. We don't store a personal notification token. We don't collect location, contacts, payment details or broker account information, and we don't use advertising or analytics trackers.
Why we use it
To sign you in, show your profile, save your settings, and record that you accepted the risk disclaimer. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
Where it's stored
In Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore), which processes data on our behalf, including in the United States. Data is encrypted in transit.
Who can see it
Your email and private profile fields are visible only to you and to us. If a community leaderboard is turned on in the future, your handle, avatar and performance statistics may be shown to other users. We'll ask before that happens.
How long we keep it
For as long as you have an account. When you delete your account, your data is removed within 30 days, except where we must keep something by law.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. See Delete your account, or email privacy@tradeharmonics.com. If you're in the UK or EU and unhappy with our response, you can complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO).
Children
Trade Harmonics is for adults (18+) and isn't designed for children.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date above and tell you in the app.
